Mississippi Aquarium will tell the incredible story of all of Mississippi's aquatic resources from the Delta to the coastline and the remarkable connection that ties all of the state's natural resources uniquely together. Featuring the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and beyond, the roaring waters of the mighty Mississippi River and the wetlands and marshes of the tranquil bayous, the story of Mississippi's natural resources had never been told in this extraordinary way. The Aquarium understands that living in Mississippi is about the outdoor experience and the relationships of its people. Mississippi Aquarium represents education, conservation and community. The Aquarium will provide visitors many opportunities to be entertained and fully immersed in the aquatic wonder that Mississippi has to offer. (Copy and Photo Source: https://www.msaquarium.org)

Pictured preassembled at Thermo-Kool’s factory is an actual size 22’11” x 22’0” x 8’6” high Thermo-Kool walk-in cooler/freezer combination which was recently installed at the Mississippi Aquarium, Gulfport, Mississippi.  Thermo-Kool’s uncompromising commitment to the highest level of quality and excellent customer service make a perfect fit for the aquatic experience. Thermo-Kool’s high density DURATHANE panel perimeter allowed the Thermo-Kool walk-in to be preassembled prior to shipment for a thorough quality control inspection to avoid “hidden costs” at the time of installation. With Thermo-Kool’s ability to manufacture in 1” panel increments the walk-in was manufactured in the exact size and configuration needed to maximize storage space capabilities with no “cutting and pasting” required in the field!  To ensure the finishes remain aesthetically pleasing in the coastal environment the exterior and interior finishes of the walk-in are stainless steel. Each of the three (3) 56” x 78” entrance doors in the cooler and freezer have three heavy duty spring-loaded hinges, vinyl strip curtains, and 3-way light switches. The door frame on the outside freezer entrance door was built into the corner to fit the exact space available. LED light fixtures were provided above each door and in the ceiling of each compartment to ensure maximum illumination is provided. The Thermo-Kool walk-in cooler/freezer was provided with remote preassembled water-cooled refrigeration systems which were adequately sized to ensure the proper temperature is maintained.
