M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland, home field of the Baltimore Ravens also recently became the home of four Thermo-Kool walk-in freezers. “M&T Bank Stadium is located at the south point of Camden Yards and is one of the crown jewels of the NFL’s premier sports facilities.” (Source: www.baltimoreravens.com/mt-bank-stadium).
Thermo-Kool’s uncompromising commitment to the highest level of quality and excellent customer service make a perfect fit for the stadium’s state-ofthe-art facility. Each of the Thermo-Kool walk-in freezers were preassembled prior to shipment for a thorough quality control inspection to avoid “hidden costs” at the time of installation. The walk-ins were designed with exposed stainless steel exteriors to fit with the beautiful aesthetics of the facility while the white stucco galvanized and fluorescent light fixtures on the interior ensured maximum illumination. Thermo-Kool’s DURA-Floor heavy duty structural support floors were provided to give additional strength of up to 12,000 lb stationary load per square foot to the walk-in floors which include foamed-in-place interior ramps as an integral part of the floor design. Other accessories provided were solar powered digital thermometers, temperature alarms with light managers and panic switches, peep windows, vinyl strip curtains, and 1/8” tread plate wainscot 36” high on the exposed exterior.
“Baltimore Ravens fans — proud of their Baltimore heritage — enjoy the latest in technology, including state-of-the-art high definition RavensVision video screens combined with extraordinary amenities, including a stunning view of the city’s skyline. With a capacity of 71,008, this aesthetic structure draws its design from Baltimore’s architecture. Completed in 1998 at an estimated cost of $220 million, the stadium has 119 luxury suites and 8,196 club seats. While Ravens Stadium was built primarily as the home of the Ravens, it also serves as a venue for concerts and special events. In November of 2013, the Baltimore Ravens, in partnership with the Maryland Stadium Authority, earned a LEED-certified “Gold” designation for M&T Bank Stadium from the U.S. Green Building Council. M&T Bank Stadium is the first existing outdoor professional sports facility in the United States — including all NFL and Major League Baseball stadiums — to receive USGBC’s Gold rating. A LEED certification is recognized across the globe as the premier mark of achievement in green building.” (Source: www.baltimoreravens.com/mt-bank-stadium).
