Installer

We are currently seeking individuals to deliver and perform quality installations nationwide of our walk-in coolers and freezers. Minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Meet minimum DOT regulations
  • Provide Certificate of Insurance with minimum $1
    million liability and minimum $100,000 cargo insurance
    coverage
  • Trailer minimum of 102” wide and recommended 38 –
    40 ft long
  • Tarps with 8 foot drop on all sides
  • Participate in Thermo-Kool’s Factory Certified
    Installation Training
  • Be able to withstand physical elements/requirements,
    such as lifting, repetitive bending, etc.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and problem-
    solving abilities

Job Summary:

A Production Drafter's responsibilities are to create engineering designs, drawings, and other technical information for use in our manufacturing facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Create sales drawings and designs for customers
  • Examine each drawing closely to ensure no errors have been made.
  • Communicate with the Purchasing Department effectively for special orders.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two-year degree in Drafting or equivalent
  • Experience with CAD is a must

Hourly:

Job Type: Full-time

  • Customer Service Technician

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process parts orders by obtaining proper information from customers to ensuring orders are shipped expediently
  • Respond quickly to field warranty and technical situations
  • Assist installers with jobsite issues
  • Adequately process all aspects of payment including processing of debit/credit memos through dealers/end-users for warranty service, payments to installers, etc.
  • Work with chain account installers to ensure proper procedures are followed throughout installation
  • Ensure defective equipment is returned
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest refrigeration technology
  • Inform applicable company personnel of issues in the field related to manufacturing and/or mistakes

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration, basic electrical, and construction knowledge are a plus as well as the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two-year degree in Heating, Air, and Refrigeration or equivalent. Commercial construction experience may be considered as a substitution.

Hourly:

  • $17/hour minimum starting wage

  • Assemblers/Technicians/Machine Operators

SKILLS:

  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Read cutting bills (blueprints)
  • Read a tape measure
  • Use of power tools such as nail gun and glue gun
  • Basic math skills
  • Carpentry is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Push, pull, and lift panels, doors, carts
  • Some positions will require heavy lifting
