A Legacy Built on Excellence
Since 1960, Thermo-Kool has been driven by a simple but powerful idea: build a better walk-in and build it with integrity. From the hand-drawn plans of our earliest days to today’s cutting-edge innovations—like our 3D Walk-In Configurator and integrated blast chillers—every milestone in our history has been shaped by the dedication of our employees and the trust of our customers.
What started in a repurposed army barracks with just a handful of team members has grown into a thriving manufacturing operation spanning over 132,000 square feet. Along the way, we pioneered advances such as high-density urethane perimeter rails, expanded our product lines, and introduced new digital tools to make the customer journey easier and more streamlined—all while holding true to the values that launched us 65 years ago.
A Look Back at Our Journey
From our incorporation in 1965 to the expansion into national sales by 1980, from moving into our current North Laurel facility in 1975 to launching new products like our blast chillers in 2012, every decade has brought meaningful growth and new opportunities. Today, we continue to innovate and expand while staying true to the principles that have guided us from the very beginning.
